8x10 digital photograph professionally printed on archival paper, signed and numbered.
Near York, Maine, it is officially the Cape Neddick Light, but it is nick-named for the small island on which it sits. Built in 1879, it is one of the most photogenic lighthouses in America. The ever present sea gulls add to the charm of this scene.
This image and the resulting position of the birds in relation to the other elements was achieved by making numerous exposures at the very moment the red light was visible. This took place over a period of about 3 hours as I tried to get a classic composition worthy of “fine art”.
I'm just listing one here, but in reality, you can always buy more; I simply print more. Let me know if you have any question regarding quantity and sizes, and I'll adjust this listing so you can purchase accordingly. Other sizes available: 11x14 (recommended), 16x20, 20x24, 24x30.
